The SureInvoice story

It was 2003 and Uversa was not even a year old at the time but the growth of our consulting and development services was very strong. It didn't take long for us to realize that we needed software that would help us manage or clients, projects and employees and that is how SureInvoice was born.

SureInvoice started out as a simple application to track employee time and client projects but as our needs changed we kept improving SureInvoice. We added features to track expenses associated with work that was completed. Then we added the ability to Invoice our clients right from SureInvoice. We then expanded SureInvoice to track sales commissions and volume discounts for our clients.

All of this continued evolution has created a very excellent product and it became apparent to us that this is software that we should make available to others. So, in 2004 we released SureInvoice under the GPL license and made it available to the entire world. The evolution of SureInvoice continued with features like QuickBooks integration, Tax Support and customized pricing per client.

In 2007 we decided to make SureInvoice available as a service to everyone that needs the features SureInvoice provides but didn't want to hassle with getting a server, setting up the software and keeping it updated. That is when we started sureinvoice.com to provide SureInvoice in a SaaS (Software as a Service) model.

All along our goal was to make the best product available and each step in the process has done just that. We hope that our most recent move to provide SureInvoice as a service will allow us to continue the evolution of SureInvoice at an even faster pace.
